ACB welcomes Afghanistan PWDs team home

On Sunday, Afghanistan Cricket Board welcomed its PwDs team home. After they arrived from  England where they participated in the World Disability World Cricket Series 2019. Moreover, ACB awarded The players with disabilities team with certificates of appreciation and financial rewards. Due to their exceptional performance representing the country.

Moreover, In an event, ACB Chairman Farhan Yusefzai called the players inspirational and ensured them of ACB’s full assistance. Furthermore, he says  I congratulate you on your achievement and am confident that you will continue to achieve more in the future.

PWDs team welcomed

Afghanistan PwDs skipper expressed his gratitude to ACB for providing them with required facilities. He further added We tried our best to win the title but it could not happen.

Afghanistan PwDs team beat Bangladesh, Pakistan, and England in the group stage of the World Physical Disability World Series 2019 respectively. But they lost against England in the Semi-Final of the tournament that was eventually won by India’s PwDs team.
