On Monday, Bangladesh suspends mobile phone services in Rohingya refugee camps. And orders its operators to shut down mobile phone services. Moreover, service is hut down to almost one million Rohingya refugees living in the country’s camps. In recent weeks, camps saw outbreak of violence. These Camps have residents fled into Bangladesh from Myanmar´s Rakhine state two years ago. After a military crackdown on the Muslim Rohingya minority.

Moreover, Telecommunications operators have seven days to submit reports on the actions to shut down networks in the camps. Furthermore, Bangladesh took this decision for security reasons.
