A  study at Florida State University found that mindfully washing dishes helps to relieve stress, reports.  Researchers assert that among the 51 students studied, the ones read about how to mindfully wash dishes had their inspiration increased by 25% and lowered their nervousness levels by 27%. While the group that did not read about how to mindfully wash dishes showed no such changes.

Furthermore, this study is very significant as it asserts that if you approach even an everyday activity, like washing dishes with focus, intention, and care. Then it reduces stress.  Moreover, the study shows that with focus, anything can help you to reduce stress and live a rather happy life.
