Privacy Policy
What we collect: app usage statistics (which apps you open and for how long) and, only if you enable the optional Accessibility helper, the name of the on-screen section inside supported apps (e.g. “Reels” vs “Feed”). We also store the goals, schedules, moods and focus sessions you create, and — if you sign in — your name and email.
What we never collect: the content of your messages, what you type, your photos, your contacts, your keystrokes, or your activity inside other apps.
Where it lives: your data is stored on your device. If you sign in, daily summaries and your profile are synced to your private Firebase account for backup. Guests stay fully local.
Sharing: we do not sell your data. Anonymous, aggregated statistics (e.g. the global average screen time) may be shown to other users with no way to identify you. We use Google Firebase (auth, database, crash reporting) and Google AdMob (ads for free users), which may process device identifiers per their own policies.
Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). You can export your data (CSV) or request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time from Settings, or by emailing us.

Glimpse Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play; prices are shown before purchase and refunds follow Google Play policy. Glimpse is provided “as is”; app-blocking and tracking rely on Android features that vary by device and cannot be guaranteed 100%.
Data & Permissions
- Usage Access — required to measure which apps you use and for how long.
- Accessibility helper (optional) — reads only the current screen’s section name inside supported apps for the in-app breakdown and feature blocking. It never reads content, text, or messages, and never acts on other apps on your behalf.
- Notifications — goal alerts, daily summary, schedule reminders.
- Display over other apps — only to show your own “take a break” screen.
You can revoke any permission in Android Settings at any time.
