The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully conducted the flight test of the indigenously developed Taimoor Weapon System, marking a major milestone in Pakistan’s defence and aerospace capabilities.
The Taimoor air-launched cruise missile has a strike range of 600 kilometers and is capable of engaging both land and sea targets with high precision using a conventional warhead. Equipped with advanced navigation and guidance systems, the missile can fly at very low altitudes, enabling it to evade enemy air and missile defence systems.
The successful test highlights the growing technological maturity, innovation, and self-reliance of Pakistan’s defence industry. Senior officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, along with leading scientists and engineers, witnessed the launch
Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, congratulated the scientists, engineers, and PAF team, praising their dedication and professionalism. He reaffirmed that such achievements strengthen Pakistan’s conventional deterrence, operational readiness, and national security in the evolving regional environment.
