Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Visits Pakistan Hajj Mission in Madinah, Reviews Post-Hajj Arrangements

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, visited the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Madinah Munawwarah to conduct a detailed review of the post-Hajj arrangements.

Upon his arrival, the Federal Minister was warmly welcomed by the Director of Hajj Madinah, Zahid Sohail, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Hajj assistants. The Minister was comprehensively briefed on the performance of various operational departments.

Director Hajj Zahid Sohail stated that all departments—including accommodation, transport, departure & repatriation (Tarheel), medical facilities, complaint redressal, and lost baggage recovery—are fully operational 24/7 to provide seamless assistance to the pilgrims.

During his visit, the Federal Minister inspected the Main Control Room, the Digitalized Room Allotment System, the Sector System, transport management, the repatriation department, the lost baggage cell, and the Pakistan Medical Mission. Appreciating the efficiency of the various desks, he directed that the service and guidance of the pilgrims must remain the topmost priority at every stage.

Sardar Muhammad Yousuf extended his gratitude to the Saudi Government and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for their excellent cooperation. He emphasized that providing the best possible facilities to Pakistani pilgrims remains the prime priority of the Government of Pakistan. He further instructed all officers and field staff to ensure that the post-Hajj flight operations continue with the same spirit of service and responsibility, in line with the directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
