The Organisation for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expresses concerns over the ongoing situation in occupied Kashmir. Furthermore, India revoked article 370 and aggravated the situation. OIC says in a press release that its secretariat expresses solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir, Moreover, they are calling for the immediate lifting of the curfew, respect for fundamental rights and restoration of communication networks.
OIC’s General Secretariat reaffirms the UNSC on the internationally recognized status of Jammu and Kashmir dispute. And its final disposition through a UN-supervised plebiscite. Furthermore, OIC emphasizes on the resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan to ensure peace in the region.
