The joint exercise of Pakistan and Chinese airforces begins in northwest China. The joint exercises are known as Shaheen-VIII. The annual joint training is the eighth of its kind between the two countries. Moreover, these joint exercises held in both countries alternatively each year since 2011. The joint training does not target any third party.
Rather it aims to improve training standards of the two air forces through mutual learning, the sources said. This joint training will strengthen relations between the two countries in general. Moreover, it will develop a mechanism for the interoperability of both air forces in particular.
