An explosion at a firecracker factory in northern India occurred. This massive explosion killed almost 18 people and also injured up to 16. Moreover, it also damaged different cars and buildings near the factory. Authorities rushed injured people to nearby hospitals.
The factory is situated in a bustling neighborhood. Furthermore, Many people were inside the factory when the explosion occurred. Explosions are common in illegal firecracker workshops. Mostly particularly during the Diwali festival. Because many of these factories do not pay heed to safety requirements and operate without permits.
