Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated in Pakistan

Today, on 12 August, Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated in Pakistan with full religious spirit and fervor. Different mosques and Eidgahs held congregations. Provincial and federal governments chalked out the security arrangements for this occasion as well. After offering eid prayers, Muslims slaughtered their animals. During this Eid,   Muslims commemorate the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S).


The president and PM of Pakistan also congratulated the whole Muslim community on Ed-ul-Adha. Moreover, they emphasized the spirit and importance of sacrifice for the development of nations. Furthermore, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PPP leader, Bilawal Bhutto went to Azad Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.  Because of the ongoing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, they wanted to express solidarity with Kashmiris and to emphasize the strong connection of Kashmiris with Pakistan. And to express their concern regarding the Kashmir issue.
