PCB increases domestic cricket prize money

PCB increases domestic cricket prize money. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced to inject Rs1 billion this season. Despite a reduction in the number of teams. Furthermore, A major part of it is allocated for welfare of players. The prize money for domestic events has increased.  Moreover, PCB announces the increase in  winning prize money for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy by 233 per cent . Whereas an increase of 150 and 100 percent in the prize money of Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup occurred.

PCB increases domestic cricket prize money

The winners of the  Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will be awarded Rs10 million and the runner-up will get Rs5 million. Whereas, The winners of the Pakistan Cup One-Day Tournament and the National T20 Cup will get Rs5 million, and the runner-up will bag half of it.  Moreover, The 32 contracted players will also receive daily allowances. This structure is to improve the earning levels of players.
