The Punjab government on Sunday taking a big step to resolve environment pollution issue transferred all the brick kilns on zigzag technology.
Pertinent to mention here that the zigzag technology is similar to FCBTK Technology and the major difference between them is just air flow path in zigzag style.
Provincial Government had already decided to grant soft loans to the brick kiln owners at just two percent service charges that would be returned in the next two years.

“We have to close down these brick kilns during the four months of winter previously,” the chief minister said as smog covering Punjab cities during winter has remained an important cause of concern for the provincial authorities.
