Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken a significant step toward women’s empowerment by introducing the SEHR (Skill Enhancement Through Home Reach) Program. This visionary initiative is designed to break down barriers, enabling women across the province to master in-demand, modern skills and build sustainable careers from the comfort of their own homes.
With a substantial investment of over Rs. 970 million, the program is set to transform the lives of 5,365 women across Punjab. The curriculum is diverse and future-focused, offering comprehensive vocational and technical training in fields such as:
- Digital Technology
- Hospitality
- Professional Beauty Services
To ensure every participant has the tools they need to succeed, the government is going above and beyond by providing laptops, internet devices, dedicated data packages, and monthly stipends throughout the training period. More than just a skill-building course, this program is a commitment to fostering financial independence and opening doors to long-term employment opportunities for women throughout the region.
