Sri Lanka’s cricketer Malinga became the highest wicket-taker in T20Is

Sri Lanka’s cricketer  Malinga became the highest wicket-taker in T20Is. He scores this position with his 99th scalp in the first match against New Zealand. e surpasses Pakistan´s Shahid Afridi in this record. Malinga retired from Test cricket in 2011. Moreover, he played farewell match one-day international in July.

Malinga played 74 T20Is whereas  Afridi played 99 T20 matches. Moreover, Malinga made his T20 debut against England in 2006. He has 101 wickets from 30 Tests and 338 scalps in 226 ODI games.
