On Friday, the foreign ministers of China and Pakistan held a meeting in Beijing to discuss the Kashmir issue. The ongoing situation in Kashmir has got condemnation from Pakistan on India. Occpied Kashmir is facing a media blackout and increased Indian troops in the region. Therefore, apprehensions in Pakistan have raised.
Pakistan’s foreign minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, said that Pakistan has decided to approach the UN for this matter. And China supported this step of Pakistan. Moreover, China announced that it will uphold justice for Pakistan in the international arena. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that China responded as expected on Kashmir issue. Furthermore, China supports Pakistan’s view of the Kashmir situation. Undoubtedly, China has always supported Pakistan in crucial times, Pakistan expected this response. And China will continue to support Pakistan’s efforts to protecting its legitimate rights and interests.
