On Friday, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced dates for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) cricket. And announced the T20I series against Sri Lanka at homeland. Moreover, ODIs and T20s will take place in Pakistan while the Tests will be played in Sri Lanka. Both PCB and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) swapped matches of the split series in Pakistan. PCB Chairman and SLC President took this decision on a telephone conversation.
Sri Lanka will play three ODI matches at Karachi’s National Stadium and 3 T20s at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Moreover, Sri Lanka will host Pakistan for two World Test Championships in late December. Sri Lankan security experts’ visited Karachi and Lahore earlier this month and gave a positive report which made the decision to play in Pakistan an easy one. The announcement of these matches brings happiness for Pakistan cricket fans who are excited to watch modern-day stars from both sides live in action.
